A Firm Foundation
In the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7), Jesus ends his teaching by claiming that anyone that listens and applies his teaching is like a wise man that builds his house on the rock. We want our lives to be placed on a firm foundation so that when life tries to beat us up, we can stand firm as we lean on the Lord.
